Role Overview

Site and Technical Coordination

• Coordinate MEP works between mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines for smooth execution.
• Review and process shop drawings, material submittals, and RFIs with consultants and project managers.
• Attend site coordination meetings and follow technical and site issues to closure.
• Monitor progress against the project schedule and report deviations to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate with civil and structural teams on MEP sleeves, openings, and embedded works.

Procurement and Documentation

• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams on material delivery and workforce deployment.
• Maintain documentation of site instructions, inspection requests, NCRs, and correspondence.
• Track material approvals and coordinate with the procurement team.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings and handover documentation.

Compliance

• Ensure MEP works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and authority requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline.
• 4–6 years of UAE experience in MEP coordination.
• Contracting background is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Good understanding of MEP systems, shop drawing review, and site coordination processes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
