Role Overview
The Media Buyer will be responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of Wecord London’s paid media campaigns. This role is central to our growth strategy, focusing on driving high-quality traffic and conversions across digital platforms while maintaining the brand's luxury positioning.
The ideal candidate is a data-driven strategist who understands the nuances of the Middle Eastern and international luxury markets. You will manage significant budgets and work closely with the Creative and Marketing teams to ensure our spend translates into measurable ROI and brand scaling.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Management: Design, launch, and manage paid social (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat) and search (Google Ads) campaigns to drive sales and brand awareness.
- Strategic Planning: Develop media buying strategies that align with seasonal launches, such as new perfume lines or jewellery collections.
- Performance Optimization: Conduct continuous A/B testing on ad creatives, copy, and landing pages to improve CTR and ROAS.
- Budget Allocation: Monitor daily spend and adjust allocations across channels based on performance and market trends.
- Reporting & Analytics: Prepare detailed weekly and monthly reports, translating complex data into actionable insights for the Marketing Manager.
- Market Research: Analyze competitor ad strategies and stay ahead of platform algorithm changes and emerging digital advertising trends.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Content team to brief high-performing ad assets and with the Operations team to ensure stock availability aligns with promotional spend.
- Technical Oversight: Manage tracking pixels, UTM parameters, and attribution modeling to ensure data integrity.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in digital media buying, specifically within the fashion, luxury, or lifestyle sectors.
- Technical Expertise: Expert-level knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads Manager. Experience with Shopify-integrated tracking is a plus.
- Analytical Prowess: Ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and pivot strategies based on performance metrics (CAC, LTV, ROAS).
- Communication: Strong negotiation skills and the ability to articulate "the why" behind data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.
- Mindset: A blend of creative intuition and analytical rigor; you understand that a great ad needs both a beautiful visual and a precise target.
