Overview
- Supervise the daily installation, alignment, rigging, and heavy lifting of static equipment including
- columns, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, storage tanks, and drums
- .
- Oversee internal tray installations, structural packing, and final box-ups of columns and vessels.
- Ensure all mechanical completion activities (e.g., hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, chemical cleaning, and flushing) are executed safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all construction and maintenance activities align with
QatarEnergy (QE) / Qatargas
- engineering standards, procedures, and project-specific Quality Control Plans (QCP).
- Conduct daily Tool Box Talks (TBT) and identify potential hazards associated with heavy rigging, working at heights, and confined space entries.
- Monitor productivity, track progress against the schedule, and report daily/weekly advancements or bottlenecks to the Mechanical Construction Manager.
