Manage project site execution to meet contract time, cost, productivity, and quality requirements while following company quality and safety practices.
Allocate available resources, materials, subcontractors, and equipment efficiently.
Construction planning and delivery
- Support introduction and application of construction methods and machinery that improve construction processes.
- Promote logistics planning, productivity measurement, reduced material waste, and better labor and equipment use.
- Ensure assigned construction work meets agreed schedules and budget; optimize manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Prepare construction schedules, manpower histograms, submittal and drawing logs, and two-week look-ahead schedules with relevant teams.
- Coordinate project submittals and drawings and follow up on shop-drawing clashes.
Site coordination and materials
- Assign tasks to site staff and supervise attendance and productivity; assist with personnel training and development.
- Coordinate subcontractors to support construction schedule compliance.
- Follow up with suppliers, issue material requisitions, oversee purchasing and delivery, and coordinate site-store material flows with Procurement.
- Attend look-ahead meetings and coordinate with consultants and supervisors on site matters.
- Issue QA/QC inspection requests, review variations, change orders, and time extensions with project leadership, and assist with project closeout reports.
- Ensure the AQC logo is placed on site panels.
Experience
- Eight years of mechanical work experience is required.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
Compensation and employment
- Pay is AED 10,000–12,000 per month.
- The job is full-time.
