Role overview
Plans, prioritizes, executes, monitors, and controls projects, including serving as project coordinator or discipline team member.
Coordinates multiple trades, stakeholders, and project team members to support smooth project delivery.
Provides input to periodic reports, KPIs, and CAPEX updates and controls costs in assigned projects.
Project delivery and engineering
- Manage project activities to meet objectives for quality, schedule, scope, cost, design basis, specifications, risk, health, safety, energy, and environmental requirements.
- Coordinate with requisitioners, internal and external stakeholders, team members, production, and maintenance representatives.
- Report and review project costs, schedules, cost phasing, forecasts, accruals, KPIs, and scorecard variations.
- Apply relevant codes, standards, design bases, specifications, engineering procedures, and good engineering practices.
- Review engineering deliverables with the Engineering Section and support site execution.
- Develop tender deliverables, identify suppliers, conduct technical evaluations, assist with commercial bid evaluations, and support contracts through completion.
- Provide team guidance and follow up on activities and targets; identify and recommend improvements based on project and technology developments.
- Support safe and timely construction within cost and HSEQ requirements and manage contractor contractual issues.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- At least 7 years of direct, relevant discipline experience in large EPCC projects related to oil and gas, petrochemical, or fertilizer industries.
- Experience in ammonia and urea fertilizer projects or plants is an advantage.
Management systems and strategy
Maintain awareness of company quality, environment, occupational health and safety, responsible care, energy management, and IFA product stewardship systems.
Comply with applicable company integrated management system policies and procedures.
Maintain awareness of company vision, mission, strategic map, and core values.
