Support construction supervision of hyperscale data centre and mission-critical infrastructure projects across the Middle East.
Oversee mechanical systems installation, testing, and commissioning in line with project specifications, quality standards, and operational requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise mechanical construction and review contractor drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documents.
- Monitor installation and testing of chilled water, cooling, HVAC, CRAH/CRAC, fuel, plumbing, fire protection, and related systems.
- Ensure mission-critical design and redundancy compliance; coordinate with other disciplines.
- Support testing, commissioning, integrated systems testing, and handover; inspect works and verify quality and specifications.
- Participate in project meetings and technical reviews.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 8–10 years of mechanical engineering experience, including 3–5 years directly on data centre or mission-critical facility projects.
- 3–5 years of Middle East experience.
- Proven experience with cooling systems, chilled water networks, CRAH/CRAC units, HVAC, fuel systems, central utility plants, and commissioning support.
- Knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, CIBSE, SMACNA, and international mechanical design standards.
- Professional registration or membership with ASHRAE, CIBSE, PE, or equivalent is preferred.
