Role Overview
Plan, coordinate, and deliver L2–L5 commissioning activities for assigned systems or areas.
Ensure technical compliance, quality, and readiness for acceptance through technical delivery, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.
L2 – Installation Verification
- Lead verification of installation readiness.
- Review and approve installation checklists, ITPs, and Method Statements.
- Ensure installations meet commissioning entry criteria.
L3 – Individual Element
- Prepare commissioning plans and witness commissioning of individual plant and equipment.
- Verify correct operation, settings, controls, and protections.
- Confirm stability before progression to system testing.
L4 – System Functional Testing
- Coordinate and witness system functional tests.
- Verify sequences of operation and system responses.
- Confirm compliance with design intent and operational requirements.
L5 – Integrated Systems Testing
- Support Integrated Systems Testing activities.
- Validate resilience and recovery outcomes for assigned systems.
- Assist in client demonstrations and acceptance activities.
Authority and Decision-Making
- Approve progression between commissioning stages within defined scope.
- Recommend acceptance or rejection of test results.
Technical Skills and Experience
- 5–8 years of commissioning experience in mission-critical or complex facilities.
- Proven data centre or critical infrastructure exposure is mandatory.
- Strong technical documentation and coordination skills.
Performance Measures
Technical accuracy and robustness of testing.
Timely issue resolution and close-out.
Quality and completeness of documentation.
