Electrical Engineer - CxA (Data Centre), responsible for technical delivery, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.
Plans, coordinates, and delivers L2–L5 commissioning for assigned systems or areas to ensure technical compliance, quality, and readiness for acceptance.
L2: Installation verification
- Lead verification of installation readiness.
- Review and approve installation checklists, ITPs, and method statements.
- Ensure installations meet commissioning entry criteria.
L3: Individual element commissioning
- Plan and witness commissioning of individual plant and equipment items.
- Verify operation, settings, controls, and protections.
- Confirm stability before progression to system testing.
L4: System functional testing
- Coordinate and witness system functional tests.
- Verify sequences of operation and system responses.
- Confirm compliance with design intent and operational requirements.
L5: Integrated systems testing
- Support integrated systems testing activities.
- Validate resilience and recovery outcomes for assigned systems.
- Assist in client demonstrations and acceptance activities.
Authority and performance
- Approve progression between commissioning stages within defined scope.
- Recommend acceptance or rejection of test results.
- Performance measures include technical accuracy and robust testing, timely issue resolution and close-out, and complete documentation.
Technical skills and experience
- 5–8 years of commissioning experience in mission-critical or complex facilities.
- Proven data centre or critical infrastructure exposure is mandatory.
- Strong technical documentation and coordination skills.
