The ELV Engineer will plan, coordinate, and deliver L2–L5 commissioning activities for assigned systems or areas.
The role combines technical delivery, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.
The position supports mission-critical and complex facilities, including data centres.
Commissioning Responsibilities
- Lead verification of installation readiness and review installation checklists, ITPs, and method statements.
- Plan and witness commissioning of individual plant and equipment items, including verification of operation, settings, controls, and protections.
- Coordinate and witness system functional tests and verify sequences of operation and system responses.
- Support integrated systems testing, validate resilience and recovery outcomes, and assist with client demonstrations and acceptance activities.
- Approve progression between commissioning stages within the defined scope and recommend acceptance or rejection of test results.
Technical Skills and Experience
- Applicants must have 5–8 years of commissioning experience in mission-critical or complex facilities.
- Proven data centre or critical infrastructure exposure is mandatory.
- Strong technical documentation and coordination skills are required.
Performance Measures
- Performance is measured by technical accuracy and robustness of testing.
- Performance is measured by timely issue resolution and close-out.
- Performance is measured by the quality and completeness of documentation.
