Materials Specialist – OM

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Manage orders for Generator, CPSL, and ship-direct items for new apparatus projects.
• Respond to PCMs and drive required component ordering; coordinate with engineering and supply management to support on-time delivery.
• Support US-based MLS with export documents for international project shipments and applicable US customs compliance.
• Coordinate exports with US-based MLS, customs brokers, and authorized forwarding companies.
• Extend SAP/OPP material masters for planning with MRP, lead times, planning data, and BOMs.
• Issue SAP/OPP requisitions to Procurement Specialists for generator parts.
• Review and report product availability against customer demand and delivery schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least four years of SAP experience and four years of related-field experience.
• Understanding of BOMs, drawing structures, and engineering specifications.
• Basic knowledge of generator components and systems.
• Ability to multitask, balance priorities, resolve problems, and work independently in a team.
• Strong written, verbal, mathematical, and interpersonal skills; able to communicate with local and international colleagues.
• Willingness to work US shift timings; a valid US visa is an added advantage.
