Material Engineer (Infrastructure)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction materials for compliance with project specifications and quality requirements.
• Review laboratory and field test results and provide technical recommendations.
• Coordinate material-related matters with contractors, consultants, and testing laboratories.
• Witness and verify material tests conducted on site and in laboratories.
• Review material submittals, technical reports, and quality documentation.
• Investigate material issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with standards, specifications, and quality procedures.
• Maintain project materials and testing records, reports, and documentation.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a construction-related field.
• At least 15 years of materials engineering experience.
• UAE infrastructure project experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, testing procedures, and quality control requirements.
• Experience reviewing and interpreting laboratory and field test results.

Desired experience

• Experience working with both consultants and contractors.
• Dubai project experience.
