AECOM is hiring a Material Engineer in its Transportation business line and Construction career area.
The role performs routine engineering duties under general supervision.
Responsibilities
- Apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to meet basic engineering and construction specifications.
- Use sound professional judgment on work details.
- Conduct independent walk-downs and inspect installed commodities for conformance with specifications and design.
- Perform quantity surveys for tracking and reporting.
- May provide technical direction to drafters, technicians, and surveyors.
Workplace
- The work location model is on-site.
- New hires must attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office.
Requirements
- Knowledge and ability to evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to meet basic engineering and construction specifications.
- Ability to exercise sound professional judgment on work details.
