Engineer - Electrical

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design dry utilities and infrastructure from concept master plan through IFC stages, including utility corridor planning, calculations, and reports.
• Work on substations, EHV/HV/LV corridors and networks, feeder pillars, service turrets, and associated calculations and reports.
• Design telecom infrastructure networks, including ducts, manholes, and GSM tower coverage considerations.
• Design street and landscape lighting for roads and prepare lighting calculations, SLDs, load schedules, and branch-wiring details.
• Coordinate with wet utilities, roads, transportation, landscape, building teams, clients, project stakeholders, and local authorities.
• Manage design approvals, prepare NOC submissions, clarify contractor RFIs, and review or approve key technical submittals when required.
• Support digitalization and improvements, collaborate across diverse teams, and help maintain effective working relationships.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• More than 3 years of design experience; construction supervision candidates are not preferred.
• Strong understanding of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and KSA authority guidelines, standards, and requirements.
• Infrastructure engineering experience and understanding of dry-utilities projects from concept master plan to IFC stage.
• Experience with BIM and relevant design software is required; Revit knowledge is additional.

Design tools and systems
