Marketing Director

for Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company drives topline growth, market share, and brand equity by developing strategic marketing plans, managing P&L, leading innovation pipelines, and guiding high-performance teams.

They oversee comprehensive brand strategies, digital transformation, and cross-functional execution to meet consumer demands in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • **Strategic Planning:**
  • Create and implement comprehensive, cross-channel marketing strategies, including digital, traditional media, and social media to drive business growth.
  • **Brand Management & P&L:**
  • Own brand strategies, managing P&L levers (product, price, place, promotion) to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.
  • **Innovation & Product Development:**
  • Oversee product concepts, launches, and the innovation pipeline, managing packaging and promotional initiatives.
  • **Market Insight & Analytics:**
  • Analyze market trends, consumer insights, competitor performance, and key marketing metrics to turn data into actionable plans.
  • **Leadership & Talent Management:**
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities to the marketing team, promoting a high-performance culture.
  • **Cross-functional Collaboration:**
  • Work closely with sales, R&D, finance, and external agencies to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
  • **Budget Management:**
  • Manage and optimize annual marketing budgets to ensure high ROI on marketing activities.

Education

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration (MBA preferred), or a related field.

Required Skills And Experience

  • **Experience:**
  • Proven track record in a senior marketing or brand leadership role, ideally in a fast-paced, multi-category FMCG setting.
  • **Commercial Acumen:**
  • High numerical proficiency with a strong understanding of P&L management, market segmentation, and commercialization.
  • **Leadership Skills:**
  • Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative,, high-performance, and creative environment.
  • **Digital Proficiency:**
  • Demonstrated experience in digital transformation, including e-commerce, CRM, and omnichannel engagement.
  • **Strategic Thinking:**
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills to identify new business opportunities and anticipate consumer trends.
  • 10 – 15 years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least the last 5 years in a Marketing Director or Senior Marketing Manager role within an FMCG (preferably food) multinational or large enterprise.
  • Excellent leadership and team development skills with proven ability to build high-performing teams
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Bilingual is MUST
