The role supports media planning and buying, marketing administration, reporting, and coordination with regional Finance.
Responsibilities
- Identify media buying opportunities and make spending and placement decisions under Marketing Manager supervision.
- Monitor media trends, emerging opportunities, technologies, and consumer responses.
- Develop media planning and buying practices, competitive analysis, cost and performance benchmarks, and effectiveness measures.
- Negotiate efficient and effective media deals.
- Support the Marketing Department administratively and coordinate with regional Finance.
- Collect marketing activity data and maintain department spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.
- Coordinate and process purchase orders, ensure bills are accurately coded and promptly sent to Finance, and complete monthly bill reconciliation.
- Analyze data and report findings to management daily, monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Send collated supplier banners for approval on time.
- Complete special projects and other assigned duties to the required quality and timeline.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or an equivalent discipline.
- Experience implementing and processing high volumes of deadline-sensitive activities.
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication and telephone etiquette.
- Experience handling expenses and an affinity with financial concepts are a plus.
Relevant skills
- Media planning and buying, competitive media analysis, and media performance benchmarking.
- Data analysis and reporting, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint.
- Purchase order processing, invoice coding, and bill reconciliation.
