Role Description
The Marble Site Foreman is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
This position oversees daily marble installation and finishing activities, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and according to project specifications.
Responsibilities
include coordinating and supervising site crews, planning work sequences, and allocating resources such as labor, tools, and equipment.
The role involves inspecting work quality, reading drawings and layouts, resolving on-site issues, and reporting progress to project managers.
The Marble Site Foreman also liaises with clients, contractors, and suppliers, ensures adherence to safety standards, and supports training and guidance for site personnel.
Qualifications
- Strong supervisory skills, including team coordination, task delegation, and on-site leadership.
- Hands-on experience working with heavy equipment and tools related to marble cutting, lifting, and installation.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with crew members, contractors, clients, and management.
- Basic carpentry knowledge for setting out, templating, and supporting marble installation where required.
- Maintenance skills to oversee the care and minor repair of tools, equipment, and site facilities.
- Proven experience in marble, stone, or construction site supervision, preferably in commercial or high-end residential projects.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, site plans, and installation details.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety and familiarity with construction site regulations.
- Organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Relevant technical or vocational qualification in construction, stonework, or a related field is an advantage.
