Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a risk management framework aligned with organizational goals and industry standards.
• Lead risk identification, assessment, and prioritization, and maintain comprehensive risk registers.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute mitigation strategies and action plans.
• Facilitate risk workshops and training to improve risk awareness.
• Monitor regulatory changes and industry practices to inform risk policies and procedures.
• Report and communicate risk status to senior management and stakeholders.
• Promote a culture of risk management excellence across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field; a master's degree is advantageous.
• At least 12 years of risk management experience focused on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience developing and applying risk management frameworks and systems.
• Strong analytical skills and data-informed decision-making ability.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in risk management software and tools.
• Relevant certifications such as PMI-RMP or ISO 31000 are highly regarded.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an asset.
