Manager - Ocean Import Pricing - Freight Forwarding

- Develop competitive ocean import pricing strategies aligned with business and profitability targets.
- Negotiate rates and secure competitive contracts with shipping lines, co-loaders, and overseas agents.
- Optimize carrier mix, procurement costs, and buy-sell margins.
- Monitor freight market trends, competitor pricing, and capacity availability.
- Ensure timely and accurate quotations, rate updates, and pricing approvals.
- Partner with Sales and Operations teams to support new business and customer retention.
- Track quotation conversion, pricing performance, and profitability; drive corrective actions.
- Ensure pricing governance, rate database accuracy, and adherence to approval matrices.
- Lead the pricing team to ensure turnaround time, accuracy, and service quality.
