Specialized responsibilities
- Develop and implement application strategy aligned with the center’s strategy and relevant department initiatives.
- Plan requirements, develop solutions, manage releases, and align application and database operations.
- Manage application plans and operations and coordinate with stakeholders across the solution lifecycle.
- Ensure applications meet quality standards and user requirements and are delivered within schedules and budgets.
- Oversee application updates, corrective actions, improvements, and continuity of data storage and retrieval.
- Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks and gaps, and follow through on corrective actions.
- Develop applications and databases to improve system efficiency and reliability.
- Oversee maintenance, updates, patches, incident response, and fault resolution to support stability, security, and business continuity.
- Maintain current and accessible change-management records.
- Manage application integrations and automate recurring processes to improve operations and monitoring.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or an equivalent field.
- At least six years of experience in the same or a related field.
- Professional certifications listed include PMP, Agile PMP, and CompTIA IT Operations Specialist (ITOps).
