Role summary

Role profile

• Advise regional leadership on shopping mall operations and help minimize legal, financial, and reputational risks.
• Draft, review, and maintain leases, commercial contracts, joint venture and shareholder agreements, and corporate documents.
• Support and manage litigation, disputes, and legal actions; coordinate external law firms and review opinions and submissions.
• Assist with HR, employment law, IT, and internal policy matters affecting shopping mall operations.
• Conduct legal due diligence and work with external counsel on transactions and operational requirements.
• Advise on complex legal issues, identify risks, and implement preventive measures to avoid disputes and protect company interests.
• Support negotiations with external parties and provide guidance to safeguard company interests.
• Monitor legal developments and compliance requirements, promote company values and the code of conduct, and support team development through feedback and performance guidance.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of progressive legal experience in a commercial law firm or real estate development company.
• Proven experience handling legal matters within GCC countries in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of corporate, fiscal, economic, civil, and commercial laws.
• Ability to provide legal guidance on complex business and real estate matters.
• Bachelor's degree in Law is required.
• Additional qualifications in Business Studies, Real Estate Management, or Real Estate Development are preferred and considered an advantage.
