Manager - IT Projects

About This Role

To lead and deliver end-to-end IT and enterprise application projects, including ERP implementations, by ensuring effective vendor management, optimal resource utilization, and strong governance. The role aims to drive reliable IT operations, deliver high-quality solutions within defined timelines and budgets, manage risks proactively, and collaborate with stakeholders to align technology initiatives with overall business objectives.

B. Primary responsibilities

1. Project & Program Management:

· Lead end-to-end delivery of IT and software application projects from initiation to closure

· Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and success criteria in alignment with business goals

· Monitor project progress, budgets, and dependencies to ensure on-time and cost-effective execution

· Establish project governance frameworks, reporting standards, and escalation mechanisms

2. ERP Implementation & Applications:

· Plan, manage, and execute ERP implementation, upgrades, and rollouts across business units

· Coordinate system integration, data migration, and user acceptance testing activities

· Ensure ERP solutions align with organizational processes and scalability requirements

· Drive adoption by supporting change management and business readiness initiatives

3. Vendor & Partner Management:

· Manage relationships with software vendors, system integrators, and service providers

· Enforce adherence to contracts, SLAs, and performance benchmarks

· Conduct vendor evaluations, negotiations, and renewals to optimize service quality and cost

· Address vendor-related risks, issues, and escalations to ensure uninterrupted delivery

4. IT Operations & Governance:

· Oversee day-to-day IT operational stability, availability, and security of systems

· Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and operational controls

· Ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability of IT services

5. Stakeholder, Resource & Risk Management:

· Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes effectively to SMT's

· Allocate resources across multiple projects based on priority, capacity, and skill requirements

· Identify, assess, and mitigate project, operational, and vendor-related risks

· Implement quality assurance practices to ensure deliverables meet agreed standards

Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

Pay: AED18,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
