Role overview

Responsibilities

• Oversee infrastructure service availability, performance, monitoring, and continuity; translate business requirements into plans, solutions, and capacity recommendations.
• Manage architecture, implementation, standardization, and lifecycle; act as escalation point for incidents and service disruptions.
• Lead and develop the infrastructure team, ensuring operational coverage and capability development.
• Manage vendors, service providers, licenses, maintenance contracts, and infrastructure expenditures.
• Ensure cybersecurity, NCA ECC, regulatory, and audit compliance; support monitoring, access controls, vulnerability remediation, incident response, and audit closure.
• Troubleshoot major incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead projects within approved scope, schedule, budget, quality, and governance requirements; drive reliability, efficiency, automation, security, and resilience improvements.
• Participate in on-call support, maintain business-critical continuity, and report incidents, risks, control gaps, service issues, and corrective actions.

Platforms and skills

• Supports Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Nutanix, VMware, Veeam Backup & Replication, IAM, PAM, Microsoft Defender, and enterprise networking.
• Manages cloud, virtualization, backup, disaster recovery, storage, networking, and identity management systems.
• Requires infrastructure operations, architecture, governance, service management, leadership, stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and cybersecurity-controls knowledge.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure operations, architecture, governance, and service management.
• Knowledge of hybrid datacenter, cloud, Microsoft platforms, virtualization, storage, backup, monitoring, identity, endpoint management, collaboration, and networking technologies.
• Understanding of cybersecurity controls, NCA ECC, risk management, audit evidence, and regulatory compliance.
• Leadership capabilities in team development, delegation, and accountability management.
• Experience in vendor, contract, budget, license, and cost optimization management.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills, including presentation, negotiation, influencing, and conflict resolution.
• Project governance, prioritization, decision-making, analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage major incidents, competing priorities, and high-pressure operational situations.
