Manager-of-managers role leading multiple entry-level managers and investigation teams of approximately 70–80 employees.
Teams investigate buyer or seller transactions on Amazon platforms and take actions using established processes, tools, and judgment.
Leadership and operations
- Lead teams to meet decision-quality, bad-debt reduction, customer-experience, service-level, capacity, and delivery targets.
- Manage performance, represent sub-function metrics, analyze results, and facilitate solutions.
- Plan roadmapped projects and work with stakeholders to deliver process improvements in quality, productivity, or customer experience.
- Develop managers and investigators through feedback, training, career planning, governance, and succession planning.
- Hire and mentor team members and coordinate resources with partner teams.
- Stay current on retail fraud trends and help prevent emerging fraud attacks.
Basic qualifications
- At least 3 years of operations, risk, or fraud investigations industry experience.
- Proven ability to manage complex investigation workflows with high SLA requirements (90%+).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience partnering with Product and Technology teams to deploy automation and AI solutions.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decisions and measure performance.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in intellectual property enforcement, brand protection, trust and safety, or fraud detection operations.
- SQL proficiency and advanced analytics for defect-pattern analysis and capacity forecasting.
- Lean/Six Sigma certification with process optimization experience.
- Understanding of ML/AI capabilities, model accuracy evaluation, and automation deployment.
Day-to-day focus
Analyze metrics and facilitate solutions, enable improvement delivery, ensure timely roadmap projects, develop people, and communicate with stakeholders.
