Manager - GRCS, Financial Services

Role

Engagement and team delivery

• Manage and monitor multiple engagements and team activities, delivering on time and to expected quality.
• Train teams on regulatory changes and trends affecting Financial Services clients.
• Lead service-delivery improvements, including digital shifts and standardization of workpapers.

Risk, engagement management, and business development

• Support internal risk and engagement procedures, including client acceptance, continuance, and engagement requirements.
• Support work across Internal Audit, ICOFR, Enterprise Risk Management, Corporate Governance, and Internal Audit Quality Assurance Reviews.
• Support Engagement Partners and lead Financial Services business development initiatives.
• Review pre-engagement activities, support contracting, and arrange meetings with prospective clients.
• Apply engagement, quality, and risk management policies to streamline Advisory processes.
• Assist Engagement Partners and lead or initiate implementation of new services, methodologies, and tools.

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Internal Auditing, Management Accounting, or equivalent.
• Relevant qualification such as CIA, CA, ACCA, CISA, CFE, CRMA, BCM, or CCGP.
• At least eight years of relevant experience in Internal Audit, ICOFR, Enterprise Risk Management, Corporate Governance, or Internal Audit Quality Assurance Reviews.
• Consulting-firm or financial-institution experience, such as banking or insurance, is preferred.

Skills

• Flawless English communication skills; Arabic is a plus.
• Advanced user and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience managing teams and working on approximately two to three engagements simultaneously.
• Analytical approach, inquisitive mind, leadership, and team-mentoring skills.
