Role Overview
Senior Associate role specializing in Infrastructure, Governance, Healthcare, and Real Estate audits.
The role covers clients and assignments across infrastructure, governance, healthcare, real estate, construction, and oil and gas sectors.
Position commencement is scheduled for October 1, 2024, with interviews commencing in June 2024.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and finalize IGH audit assignments for Manager and Partner review.
- Prepare work for review, highlighting issues and offering potential solutions.
- Manage client deliverables, including attending meetings.
- Conduct strategic analysis specific to the IGH industry.
- Identify business and audit risks in the IGH sector.
- Assess client processes and controls within the IGH industry.
- Perform higher-risk and nonroutine audit functions.
- Provide day-to-day management of junior team members.
- Apply KPMG audit methodology, auditing standards, and relevant industry standards.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in commerce, completed A levels, or equivalent.
- At least 9 ACCA papers, 2 CPA papers, or completion of the ICAEW Professional Stage.
- At least 2 years of postgraduate experience.
- Recent experience in IGH audits.
- Strong understanding of accounting concepts related to the IGH sector.
- Computer literacy.
Skills and Languages
- Strong analytical, research, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English across speaking, reading, writing, and listening.
- Fluent Arabic across speaking, reading, writing, and listening.
- Proactive and independent working approach.
- Customer focus and ability to mentor new team members.
