The Manager – Electrical Design & Engineering will lead all electrical engineering activities for the 350 MW brownfield expansion unit. The role involves detailed engineering, system integration with existing units, electrical load planning, switchyard expansion, protection coordination, and ensuring seamless grid compliance without impacting ongoing plant operations.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
- Master’s Degree preferred
- Key Competencies:
- ETAP / Power System Study software exposure
- Knowledge of CEA regulations & grid standards
- Protection relay coordination
- Switchyard engineering (AIS/GIS)
- HT/LT distribution system design
- Earthing & lightning protection design
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
10+ years in coal-based thermal power projects (300–500 MW preferred).
Experience in at least one full project lifecycle.
Exposure to brownfield expansion projects highly desirable.
Strong understanding of power system protection and grid compliance.
