Manage mechanical design delivery across multiple international data center projects.
Oversee multidisciplinary design teams and coordinate with cross-functional departments.
Project and technical delivery
- Evaluate and select sites for new data centers and prepare infrastructure-focused site visit reports.
- Coordinate technical approvals with government and local authorities.
- Lead project meetings and resolve design and technical conflicts among contractors and consultants.
- Develop concept designs, equipment sizing, and supporting calculations.
- Lead client technical discussions and respond to technical questionnaires for RFP and bid processes.
- Review contractor RFPs and frameworks, design compliance, calculations, specifications, layouts, drawings, and site works.
- Guide the design team to meet quality, performance, and delivery expectations.
- Supervise and develop junior engineers and support day-to-day technical decisions.
- Monitor budgets, verify consultant and contractor invoices, and report financial variances.
Qualifications and competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 7 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with data center and mission-critical projects; understanding of hyperscale data center requirements.
- Expert knowledge of mechanical systems and engineering standards.
- Strong English, customer-facing communication, attention to detail, and technical problem-solving skills.
- Strong project planning, scheduling, and resource management skills.
