Role overview

Responsibilities

• Plan costs using cost-versus-value analysis while protecting project goals.
• Track scope and cost movements between project phases and review consultant cost plans for accuracy and design alignment.
• Monitor design efficiencies and ensure cost consultants follow agreed scope, guidelines, and procedures.
• Follow policies, processes, IPMS measurement guidelines, and company templates.
• Update the business unit on construction costs and design metrics; represent the team at reviews and stage gates.
• Use benchmarking to relate design metrics to cost positions and support assurance across the project lifecycle.
• Consider feasibility requirements in cost planning.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of relevant cost planning, quantity surveying, or estimating experience.
• Expertise in standards such as NRM, CESSM, RIBA, and POMI.
• Experience on large-scale projects with construction value above SAR 200 million.
• At least two years of local GCC construction experience is preferred.
• Cost and design benchmarking familiarity is expected; KSA or Middle East experience is preferred.
• Proficiency using cost-planning software is expected; CostX is preferred.
• Basic ability to convey information and limited experience adapting messages for different audiences.
