Role overview

The role leads strategic and operational management of the Mattel Technology & Innovation Center workplace.

The role aims to deliver a safe, secure, sustainable, engaging workplace that supports business growth and employee experience.

The role works with MTIC leadership, global functions, and external service partners.

Workplace strategy and facilities

  • Develop Workplace Operations strategy and lead facilities, employee services, workplace experience, and corporate services.
  • Ensure 24x7 operational readiness, improve workplace efficiency and service quality, and maintain operational policies and governance.
  • Oversee facilities, infrastructure, maintenance, amenities, events, executive visits, and space planning.

Security, continuity, and mobility

  • Govern physical security operations, access control, surveillance, incident management, and outsourced security performance.
  • Maintain business continuity, emergency response, and crisis plans; coordinate with security partners and local authorities.
  • Lead employee transportation, shift mobility, women's safety programs, corporate travel, and logistics.

Vendors, expansion, and sustainability

  • Manage service-provider partnerships, performance, contracts, budgets, forecasts, and cost optimization.
  • Support workplace expansion, fit-out projects, capacity planning, workplace design, and timely delivery within budget.
  • Lead sustainability initiatives covering energy, waste, water, environmental compliance, reporting, and workplace wellness.

Requirements

  • Lead strategic and operational management of the workplace and its corporate services.
  • Ensure a safe, secure, sustainable workplace and readiness for a 24x7 operating environment.
  • Manage workplace budgets, forecasts, vendor performance, and contractual compliance.
  • Partner across business leadership and Global Workplace, Security, HR, Finance, Procurement, and IT.
  • Support workplace expansion, fit-out projects, and future site planning.
