The operations coordinator supports customer shipments at Mattel Canada's Operations office and reports to an Associate Manager, Distribution.
Responsibilities
- Prepare outbound shipping documentation and process customer orders.
- Schedule appointments and arrange transportation for prepaid customers.
- Coordinate purchasing of day-to-day material handling supplies.
- Support on-time customer deliveries and monitor operating supplies to ensure adequate stock.
- Help ensure competitive transportation costs and audit invoices before payment.
Required qualifications
- Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities are required.
Preferred qualifications
- Two or more years of experience in distribution, transportation, or logistics is preferred.
- Two or more years coordinating truckload, LTL, and courier transportation providers is preferred.
- Microsoft Office proficiency, including Excel and Outlook, is preferred; Oracle experience is an asset.
- Customs and international shipping experience is an asset.
Compensation
- The annual pay range is CAD $55,300–$69,200; base pay depends on work location, skills, and experience.
