Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage quality engineers while fostering quality, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Develop quality assurance strategies, methodologies, and processes for software products.
• Oversee test plans, test cases, and automated test design and execution.
• Collaborate with product management, development, and other teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Drive adoption of test automation frameworks and tools.
• Monitor quality metrics and identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Promote defect prevention, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvement.
• Manage quality engineering priorities and projects against release and business objectives.
• Track industry trends and emerging technologies in quality assurance and software testing.
• Participate in hiring, training, and performance evaluations for the team.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of software quality assurance or quality engineering experience, including at least 3 years in leadership or management.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test strategies and plans.
• Expertise in test automation frameworks and tools including Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Understanding of performance, security, and usability testing principles.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or similar cloud platforms.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
