Role Overview
The ABA Therapist, also described as a Behavior Technician, supports individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental needs.
The role delivers one-on-one therapy based on individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
The position is part-time and the work location is in person.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement ABA treatment plans during one-on-one therapy sessions under BCBA direction.
- Collect, record, and analyze behavioral data to track progress.
- Teach new skills using evidence-based ABA strategies.
- Implement behavior reduction strategies and promote positive alternatives.
- Support communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills.
- Collaborate with BCBAs, parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Ensure consistent therapy implementation across settings.
Qualifications
- UAE-attested bachelor’s or master’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, Education, or Social Work.
- ABA certification or RBT certification is preferred.
- At least one year of ABA or related experience is preferred.
- Strong patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Requirements
- Own valid UAE visa is mandatory.
- Ability to join immediately.
- CDA license is preferred.
