LSA / ABA Therapist

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support to learners with autism and other developmental needs.
• Implement ABA programs and individualized targets as instructed by the supervising BCBA or clinical team.
• Follow behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs.
• Support communication, social interaction, independence, daily living, and adaptive skills.
• Use positive behavior strategies and respond to challenging behavior according to approved plans.
• Collect behavioral and learning data and maintain daily progress records.
• Follow clinical instructions and promptly communicate concerns or behavior changes.
• Maintain consistent implementation through therapy sessions and extended LSA hours.
• Coordinate with therapists, supervisors, parents, and relevant team members as directed.
• Support learners in educational and community settings when required.
• Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality; attend supervision, training, meetings, and handovers.

Qualifications and requirements

• Strong practical ABA experience is essential.
• Previous one-to-one experience with children with autism or developmental needs is required.
• Ability to implement ABA programs and behavior plans and collect data accurately is required.
• Good English communication skills are required.
• Relevant education in psychology, special education, education, social work, or a related field is preferred.
• RBT, ABAT, IBT, or another ABA certification is an advantage.
• School LSA or extended one-to-one learner support experience is an advantage.
• Tagalog skills are preferred.
• A valid own UAE visa and immediate availability are required.
• Must work full-time, accommodate LSA hours and learner schedules, and provide extended one-to-one support.
• Must follow center procedures, clinical guidance, and the assigned learner’s program.

• Work location is in person.
• The role may require learner support in educational and community settings as assigned.
• Full-time work must accommodate required LSA hours and learner schedules.
