Role overview

Makeup and client service

• Provide makeup for everyday occasions, parties, engagements, weddings, photoshoots, and special events.
• Perform bridal and glamorous makeup looks based on client preferences.
• Consult with clients about their needs, skin types, and desired looks; recommend suitable styles, products, and techniques.
• Stay updated on makeup trends, techniques, and beauty products.
• Deliver personalized service, build client relationships, and ensure satisfaction with final results.
• Recommend additional salon services and suitable beauty products where appropriate.

Hygiene and salon operations

• Clean and sanitize brushes, applicators, tools, and workstations after every client.
• Store products properly, monitor expiry dates, and comply with salon health, safety, and hygiene policies.
• Keep the makeup station organized and presentable; manage products and report low stock or damaged items.
• Follow booking schedules and deliver services punctually.
• Support promotions, photoshoots, salon events, and smooth daily operations with colleagues.

Sales and performance

• Contribute to salon revenue targets by promoting makeup packages, bridal services, and relevant beauty products.
• Support client retention through professional service and repeat bookings; follow salon pricing, payment, and service procedures.
• Performance indicators include client satisfaction, repeat bookings, service quality, sales, punctuality, hygiene, and promotional contribution.

Candidate requirements

• Proven experience as a professional makeup artist.
• Strong knowledge of makeup application, skin preparation, color matching, and different skin types.
• Experience in party, evening, bridal, and special-occasion makeup; knowledge of professional makeup brands and products.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, professional appearance, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage appointments, and meet client expectations.
• A portfolio is preferred; relevant professional certification is an advantage.

Working conditions

• Work according to assigned salon shifts and schedule.
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and during peak periods as required.
• Follow salon policies, procedures, and management instructions.

Pay

• Pay starts at AED 5,000 per month.

Workplace

• Work location is in person.
