Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Perform spray painting and finishing works on joinery items such as doors, cabinets, wardrobes, furniture, wall panels, and other wooden fixtures.
• Prepare wooden surfaces through sanding, filling, cleaning, and smoothing prior to finishing applications.
• Apply PU paint, lacquer, varnish, stains, polish, and other finishing materials using spray guns and appropriate equipment.
• Ensure smooth, consistent, and high-quality finishes that meet project specifications and client expectations.
• Carry out touch-ups, repairs, repainting, and polishing as required.
• Mix and match paint colors, stains, and finishing materials to achieve the desired appearance.
• Safely operate spray painting equipment, sanding machines, and finishing tools.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Coordinate with supervisors and workshop or site teams to ensure timely project completion.
• Follow company procedures, quality standards, and health and safety regulations at all times.

& Experience

• Proven experience as a **Joinery Finishing Painter** in fit-out, renovation, maintenance, or joinery manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of wood finishing techniques, materials, and industry best practices.
• Hands-on experience with PU painting, staining, varnishing, polishing, and lacquer applications.
• Skilled in operating spray guns and related finishing equipment.
• Good understanding of surface preparation methods and finishing quality standards.
• Experience in residential, commercial, or interior fit-out projects is preferred.
• Ability to work independently, manage workloads effectively, and meet project deadlines.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in both workshop and on-site environments.
