EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • REQUIREMENTS OR EQUIVALENCIES:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience operating CNC machines.
  • Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.
  • Completion of an apprenticeship or training program is preferred.
  • PHYSICAL/MENTAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • A machinist sets up and operates machine tools to create precision parts, requiring physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing, sharp math and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely around loud, hazardous manufacturing equipment.
