Full Job Posting
Grow the Business: Own growth, revenue, and gross margin for Data Center Cooling and the US Valve portfolio — with existing and new customers.
Set priorities across customers, applications, and resources using market mapping, competitive intelligence, and 80/20.
Keep a visible pipeline with actions, owners, and barriers.
Drive the NPD funnel and roadmap with Product Management and Engineering, who own the roadmap, lifecycle, and milestones.
Pursue opportunities relentlessly and sustain momentum through difficult periods.
Drive Connected Growth: Connect customer needs with products and capabilities across IDEX.
Build relationships with IDEX leaders, product managers, and sales teams.
Pull through broader IDEX products and align businesses around shared opportunities.
Work through competing priorities and organizational boundaries without losing momentum.
Lead Customer Engagement: Be the senior business partner and escalation point for priority customers — up and including the C-suite.
Strengthen relationships across priority customer organizations, building on the Commercial team's foundation.
Set up a repeatable way to collect and share voice of customer.
Turn unmet needs and application gaps into growth, resource, and execution priorities.
Build the Team and Execution Discipline: Lead and scale the Commercial team and Program Management — and drive results through a cross-functional team
Align people with the highest-priority opportunities; clarify roles and add commercial, program, and project capacity as needed.
Partner with functional leaders to set initial project priorities and turn them into clear actions, owners, and follow-through.
Set clear direction and lead complex decisions and conversations directly.
Scale without losing urgency, customer focus, or accountability.
Own Business and Financial Performance: Develop the Annual Operating Plan for the Data Center Cooling business and, once approved, own execution against that plan.
Owns: development and delivery of the approved Annual Operating Plan.
Decides: pricing, resource allocation, growth priorities, and commercial investment within the approved plan and budget.
Recommends: capital, M&A, partnerships, and anything outside the plan to the GM and platform leadership.
Run a regular business review; keep forecast discipline and separate sustaining work from incremental growth.
Balance growth, margin, cash, customer commitments, and long-term capability.
Own Performance and Fix Problems at the Root: You own customer and business performance. When something is not working, raise your hand early — across the leadership team.
Track quality, delivery, and lead-time performance; call out problems before customers feel them.
Decide what problems to solve, ask for help when needed, and launch kaizens with cross-functional leaders.
Require fact-based root cause, countermeasures, and clear owners for missed commitments and recurring issues.
Improve the system, not assign blame. Formal Lean expertise is not required.
