Logistics Operations Executive

About This Role

A freight forwarding company specializing in vehicle exports is seeking a candidate with full knowledge of warehouse management and customs clearance procedures within JAFZA.

• Preparation of load lists and loading plans for container shipments.
• Communicate and coordinate with the warehouse team and facility loading operations.
• Must have knowledge of container loading patterns and vehicle lashing inside containers.
• Coordinate with the transport department for fleet operations related to export and import containers as per the loading plan.
• Arrange and supervise import and export shipments for customers, ensuring smooth and timely execution.
• Coordinate with operations, transport, warehouse, and accounts departments to ensure smooth cargo movement and accurate job costing.
• Supervise and manage all customs clearance operations within JAFZA and Dubai Customs.
• Review and approve export declarations, exit submissions, loading plans, and loading lists prior to system submission.
• Oversee Exit Shipped Out processes and ensure timely Dubai Trade online payments.
• Coordinate and manage customs inspections, ensuring all required documentation is properly arranged and compliant.
• Oversee preparation of shipping documentation and monitor vessel schedules, dispatch, and shipment tracking.
• Negotiate with vendors and shipping lines to obtain the best export freight rates and import shipment rates for customers.
• Ensure loading photos are properly captured, stored, and linked to the correct SAP job files.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records within Mirsal 2, Dubai Trade, and Zajel systems.
• Submit documents for duty and deposit claims when applicable.
• Resolve customs-related issues, inspection queries, and clearance delays efficiently.
• Lead, train, and monitor customs clearance staff to ensure operational efficiency and accountability.
• Supervise and control cargo inventory movements (IN/OUT) within the JAFZA yard and warehouse using SAP.
• Ensure accurate and timely SAP entry of gate-in / gate-out records and shipment updates.
• Reconcile physical inventory with SAP records and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE Customs laws, JAFZA regulations, and company procedures.
• Prepare operational reports and updates for management as required.
• Minimum 3 years of UAE experience required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
