We’re Hiring: Logistics Operations Coordinator at AWAT

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage logistics operations for all company branches across GCC countries, with a primary operational focus on the UAE market.
• Handle daily coordination between branches, warehouses, procurement departments, and shipping companies.
• Manage import/export logistics processes and ensure smooth shipment movement across all locations.
• Follow up on customs clearance activities and ensure compliance with UAE and regional regulations.
• Prepare, review, and verify shipping and customs documentation accurately to avoid delays or penalties.
• Conduct market research and evaluations for freight forwarders and clearance agents regarding service quality, reliability, and pricing.
• Negotiate competitive shipping rates and logistics service agreements.
• Analyze and optimize shipping costs across sea, air, and land freight operations.
• Ensure operational accuracy and maintain proper records for all logistics transactions and official documentation.

Mandatory Technical Requirements

• Advanced practical experience using Dubai Trade Portal for handling logistics and customs transactions.
• Proven experience in preparing and processing customs declaration data and import documentation.
• Strong knowledge of UAE customs clearance systems, including Mirsal 2, and regional regulatory requirements.
• Hands-on experience dealing directly with shipping companies and customs brokers.
• Ability to compare freight solutions and optimize logistics costs efficiently (Sea, Air, and Land).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics operations within the UAE market.
• Previous experience in pharmaceuticals, pharmaceuticals, healthcare trading, or similar industries is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of traditional logistics procedures, governmental processes, and official documentation requirements.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail to avoid customs delays and port penalties.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal departments and external logistics partners.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-country operational environment.
• Age preference: 28–35 years.
