Role Overview
The Junior Logistics Officer will support the daily operations of the logistics department, including fleet coordination, inventory tracking, and documentation management.
Will work closely with carriers, warehouse staff, and vendors to ensure timely deliveries and maintain accurate records of all shipments.
Should have a basic knowledge of Dubai and Sharjah customs online portal.
Shipment Coordination
- Assist in scheduling and tracking shipments to ensure on-time delivery;
• Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and verify essential transport documents (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs paperwork) ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
Provider Liaison
- Communicate with freight forwarders, couriers, and transport providers.
Data Entry & Reporting
- Maintain accurate logs in excel and Freight order System; assist in preparing weekly reports.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
- Basic understanding of transport regulations, incoterms, and customs procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for negotiating with vendors and coordinating with team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
- Knowing Arabic and having a light / heavy driving license is an add - on.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field
- Knowledge of planning, purchasing & logistics policies and practices
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office/ EXCEL & ERP software
Skills & Experience
- HVAC Experience is a (preferable)
- Negotiation Skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Prefer Experience in manufacturing company
