Coordinate logistics for construction project operations, including materials, equipment, deliveries, lifting, site access, and reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate material deliveries, unloading, storage, and distribution to required floors and work areas.
- Plan tower crane operations, lifting schedules, material hoisting, and delivery priorities with site teams.
- Manage site access, delivery routes, loading and unloading areas, and traffic movement.
- Coordinate construction hoists, passenger and material lifts, and tower cranes for moving materials and manpower.
- Schedule and monitor supplier deliveries to avoid congestion, delays, and disruption to construction.
- Coordinate with construction teams to ensure materials and equipment are available where required.
- Maintain proper material storage, clear access routes, and organized logistics areas on all floors.
- Ensure logistics activities comply with project HSE requirements, lifting procedures, and site safety regulations.
- Liaise with construction managers, site engineers, storekeepers, procurement, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve logistics issues.
- Prepare daily reports covering deliveries, crane utilization, hoisting, material availability, and outstanding constraints.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in supply chain management, business, or industrial engineering.
- 7–10 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to identify system performance measures relevant to system goals.
- Able to identify complex problems, assess alternative solutions, and implement solutions using logic and reasoning.
Pay
- Pay is listed as AED 10,000–12,000 per month.
