IT & Digital Transformation Manager

Role overview

Technology leadership and infrastructure

• Develop and execute group IT strategy, align initiatives with business objectives, and manage budgets and technology roadmaps.
• Lead digital transformation across business units and oversee networks, servers, cloud environments, telecommunications, and end-user computing.
• Ensure critical systems are available, standardize infrastructure across international offices, and manage backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity.

Security and enterprise applications

• Develop cybersecurity policies and oversee endpoint protection, firewalls, identity management, access control, security awareness, penetration testing, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Manage and optimize Microsoft 365, ERP, document management, construction project management, CRM, and business intelligence platforms.

Construction technology and automation

• Support BIM workflows, digital project controls, mobile field reporting, drone and reality capture, IoT, smart construction, and digital QA/QC systems.
• Identify AI and automation opportunities such as document automation, knowledge management, proposal generation, contract analysis, predictive reporting, AI assistants, and workflow automation.

Governance, vendors, and team

• Manage IT service providers, negotiate software and hardware contracts, evaluate vendors, and monitor service levels and performance.
• Maintain IT policies, cybersecurity and data protection compliance, software licensing, and technology governance frameworks.
• Lead internal IT staff, coordinate consultants, and mentor junior staff.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or Engineering.
• 8–15 years of progressive IT experience, including at least five years in a leadership position.
• Experience supporting international operations; strong cloud, Microsoft 365 administration, networking, infrastructure, and cybersecurity knowledge.
• Familiarity with ERP implementation and administration; strong project management and communication skills.

Preferred experience

• Construction or engineering industry experience; BIM and construction technology; enterprise AI implementation; ISO 27001 familiarity.
• Azure or Cisco certifications, VMware or Hyper-V, Power BI, Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint Online, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Oracle Primavera P6, or similar platforms.

Compensation

• Pay is QAR 42,000–45,000 per month.

Workplace

• Work location is in person in Doha, Qatar, with international travel.
