Logistics Officer

Role Overview

Experience Required

• At least three years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of logistics operations, shipment coordination, documentation, transportation, and supply chain activities.

Logistics Operations

• Coordinate daily logistics and transportation operations.
• Plan and arrange local and international shipments.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, transport companies, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and clearing agents.
• Prepare and verify invoices, packing lists, delivery notes, purchase orders, and shipping documents.
• Monitor shipment status from pickup to final delivery.
• Follow up with transporters and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Arrange vehicles and transportation according to delivery requirements.
• Coordinate import and export shipments and customs clearance activities.
• Maintain accurate shipment, delivery, and logistics documentation records.
• Track incoming and outgoing shipments and provide regular status updates.
• Monitor delivery schedules and resolve delays or transportation issues promptly.
• Coordinate warehouse receiving, dispatching, loading, and unloading activities.

Additional Responsibilities

• Obtain and compare transportation and freight quotations when required.
• Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, freight forwarders, and courier companies.
• Follow up on customs clearance, delivery orders, and related documentation.
• Monitor logistics costs and assist in controlling unnecessary transportation expenses.
• Maintain relationships with logistics service providers and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable logistics procedures.
• Prepare regular logistics reports and update management on shipment status.
• Handle urgent shipments and coordinate solutions to unexpected logistics issues.
• Perform other logistics and administrative duties assigned by management.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 4,000 to AED 6,000 per month.

Workplace

• Work location is in person.
