Logistics Import Manager, CHB

Role summary

Department and customer leadership

• Oversee customs compliance, statements, and operational practices.
• Manage employee development, performance, productivity, and morale; maintain customer service levels and support business growth.
• Meet corporate KPIs and ensure accurate billing.
• Monitor budgets, cash flow, performance, and market/customer conditions to support profitability.
• Prepare quotations, provide sales support, and develop partnership and agent relationships.
• Coordinate departmental regulatory issues, including classifications, port entry, and problem resolution, with the Regional Compliance Manager.
• Perform bid/RFI/RFQ cost-benefit analysis and price authorization.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of industry experience, including 2 years in a managerial or supervisory position.
• Two years of college and/or an additional 2 years of industry experience.
• Knowledge of transportation, import/global transportation, regulatory matters, and business development.
• Current CHB license and qualification as an office Qualified License Holder (QLH).
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.

Schedule

• Standard hours, with additional time as necessary.

• Pay is listed as $1.00 per hour; compensation is described as based on experience.
