Manage and coordinate international shipments from origin to final delivery at Amazon fulfillment centers.
The role calls for attention to detail, communication, and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor direct-import shipments across origin, port-to-port, destination, and final-mile transportation legs.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, trade compliance teams, and fulfillment centers.
- Resolve shipment issues proactively to reduce delays and meet customer commitments.
- Maintain and analyze direct-import performance metrics and report them regularly to leadership.
- Implement process improvements and ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and Amazon standards.
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or at least 2 years of program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or related field experience.
- Experience using Microsoft Office.
- Experience analyzing data metrics.
Preferred qualifications
- International shipping and customs procedures experience; transportation management systems knowledge.
- E-commerce or retail logistics experience and understanding of import/export documentation requirements.
- Six Sigma or similar process improvement certification.
