Logistics Coordinator ( Supply Chain ) - Facade

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation, delivery, and distribution of glass, aluminium profiles, accessories, hardware, and other façade materials.
• Plan and monitor deliveries to factories, warehouses, and project sites against project schedules.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, production, project teams, suppliers, and transport companies.
• Track shipments, delivery schedules, dispatches, and proof of delivery; follow up on supplier readiness and shipment status.
• Maintain logistics records, delivery notes, transfer documents, and inventory movement reports.
• Monitor stock availability and coordinate with warehouses to prevent material shortages and project delays.
• Arrange local transportation and support import/export shipments, customs clearance, and freight forwarding when required.
• Verify delivery documents against purchase orders and material requests; resolve urgent transport and delivery issues.
• Ensure safe handling, loading, unloading, and transportation of materials to prevent damage.
• Monitor logistics costs, improve delivery efficiency, and reduce transportation expenses.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and applicable UAE logistics requirements.
• Prepare daily and weekly logistics reports for management.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in logistics coordination, supply chain, or material movement.
• Knowledge of transportation planning, inventory control, warehouse coordination, and delivery documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP or inventory management systems, such as Xpedeon ERP.
• Strong coordination, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deliveries and meet tight project deadlines.
• Knowledge of UAE logistics procedures and local transportation requirements.

Preferred experience

• Experience in façade, glass, aluminium, construction, or building materials is preferred.
• Familiarity with import/export procedures, customs clearance, and freight forwarding is an advantage.
