Transportation management
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments of raw materials, components, and finished AHUs.
- Manage transportation providers to support timely, cost-effective delivery.
- Oversee special shipments, including oversized or high-value items.
Inventory and warehouse operations
- Maintain optimal raw-material and component inventory levels to prevent production delays.
- Implement inventory management systems to track stock and reduce waste; conduct audits and reconciliations.
- Supervise warehouse storage and material handling, ensure efficient space use, and apply warehouse best practices.
- Manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
Supply chain and distribution
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure steady material flow, negotiate contracts and terms, and monitor supplier performance.
- Develop efficient distribution strategies for finished AHUs and align schedules with sales, production, and customer demand.
- Manage distribution networks and optimize delivery routes.
Logistics analytics
- Use data and analytics to monitor logistics performance.
- Analyze KPIs including on-time delivery, transportation costs, and inventory turnover; identify improvements and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
- Eight years of experience in a similar position.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
