The employer seeks a detail-oriented Logistics Operations Coordinator to handle daily freight operations, coordinate shipments, communicate with customers and overseas agents, and process shipments accurately and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Handle daily freight operations according to company procedures and freight operation programs.
- Prepare and process bills of lading, arrival notices, delivery orders, invoices, and related documents.
- Coordinate with customers, carriers, overseas agents, warehouses, truckers, and service providers.
- Follow up on shipment status, vessel schedules, cargo arrivals, delivery arrangements, and operational matters.
- Respond to customer inquiries, provide professional service, and resolve operational issues.
- Assist or substitute for other team members and job functions when needed to support daily operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in freight forwarding and logistics is preferred.
- Good understanding of import/export and freight forwarding operations.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Mandarin is an asset.
Pay
- Pay is $38,000–$50,000 per year.
