Logistics Coordinator

About This Role

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Import & Customs Operations

· Coordinate international shipments from suppliers to UAE

· Manage import documentation (Invoice, Packing List, BL, COO)

· Liaise with clearing agents for customs clearance and MOFAIC attestation

· Monitor duty, VAT payments, and ensure timely clearance

· Handle port operations, container release, and delivery to warehouse

2. 3rd Party & Logistics Coordination

· Coordinate with:

• Clearing agents
• Freight forwarders
• Shipping lines
• Transport providers

· Ensure smooth communication and cost-effective logistics execution

3. Inventory Monitoring & Control

· Track stock levels in system (Tally)

· Monitor stock availability against incoming shipments

· Ensure proper stock planning and availability

4. System vs Physical Stock Reconciliation

· Ensure alignment between system stock and physical inventory

· Conduct cycle counts and stock audits

· Investigate discrepancies and coordinate adjustments

· Maintain high inventory accuracy

5. Goods Receipt & Validation

· Verify incoming goods against PO and packing list

· Ensure accurate GRN posting in system

· Report damages, shortages, or inconsistencies

6. Coordination with Sales Team (Client Deliveries) ✅

· Coordinate closely with Sales team for planning and execution of customer deliveries

· Align delivery schedules based on:

• Stock availability
• Customer timelines

· Ensure timely dispatch of goods for client orders

· Provide updates to Sales on:

• Delivery Team availability
• Delivery status

· Support resolution of delivery issues impacting customers

7. Delivery & Warehouse Coordination

· Plan and schedule deliveries from warehouse to customers

· Coordinate with transport providers for on-time delivery

· Ensure proper documentation for deliveries

8. Reporting & Tracking

· Maintain reports on:

• Shipment status
• Stock levels
• Delivery performance

· Communicate updates to internal stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Operations)

9. Issue Resolution & Risk Management

· Resolve delays in:

• Imports
• Customs clearance
• Deliveries

· Address stock discrepancies and operational issues

· Escalate critical issues to management

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s Degree

· Experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse coordination (preferably in the furniture or retail sector).

· Strong communication, organizational, and coordination skills.

· Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory/tally system.

· Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: AED1.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
