About the Job

We are BSA Global, a freight forwarding company based in Dubai. We are looking for a hands-on Import/Export Logistics Coordinator who truly knows the trade — not just from a coordination desk, but from the ground up.

You will independently manage the entire lifecycle of air and sea freight shipments: from rate enquiry and quotation through booking, documentation, customs procedures, and final delivery confirmation. You will also coordinate and supervise a Logistics Operations Runner, forming a self-sufficient two-person operational unit.

Our model is lean and hands-on — we do not sub-contract to third-party agents. Every shipment is managed entirely in-house, which means you must have deep, practical knowledge of UAE logistics systems and be equally comfortable as a coordinator, a customs broker, and a freight buyer.

What You Will Do

• Obtain and compare rates from airlines, shipping lines, and freight agents; prepare accurate client quotations within agreed margin structures
• Book cargo space via Calogi, CargoAi, or direct airline portals (Emirates SkyCargo, Qatar Airways Cargo, Air Arabia Cargo, flydubai Cargo)
• Book FCL/LCL shipments with shipping lines (CMA CGM, MSC, Maersk, Hapag-Lloyd, Evergreen) or local agents
• Issue and manage Air Waybills (AWBs) through Calogi; prepare Bills of Lading and Sea Waybills
• Prepare full documentation sets: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, MSDS, DGD, Form E, Fumigation Certificate, and all required regulatory certificates
• File export/import customs declarations and transit entries via Dubai Trade Portal independently
• Apply for and manage vehicle and cargo gate passes via DAFZA Gate Pass System
• Plan and assign daily field tasks to the Logistics Runner; monitor progress in real time and resolve on-the-ground issues immediately
• Send pre-alerts, arrival notifications, and delivery orders to overseas partners and clients

What We Are Looking For

Must have:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on freight forwarding experience in the UAE (UAE-specific, not GCC in general)
• Proven daily-use experience with Dubai Trade Portal — must file export and import declarations independently
• Proven Calogi experience — AWB issuance, not just tracking
• DAFZA and/or DWC gate pass application experience
• Fluent English — all documentation, carrier communication, and client updates in English

Nice to have:

• JAFZA import/export procedures knowledge
• Experience working directly with airlines and shipping lines (direct carrier bookings)
• Understanding of Incoterms 2020 and their practical impact on liability and documentation
• Arabic — advantageous for customs officers and government authority communication
• Russian or Ukrainian — strong advantage for CIS/Eastern European client segment communication
